About us

There is not much to it. "We" are Chris & Alliey McAra, a young married couple that share a passion for reptiles, and most animals in general. We currently share our home in Arizona with our three beautiful Shiba Inu's.

We each have 10+ years experience working with various species of reptiles, including but not limited to Python Reticulatus, Python Molurus ssp, Python Curtus ssp, Boa Constrictor ssp, and Eublepharis Macularius. We are currently working with Leopard Geckos (various morphs), Albino Sumatran Blood Pythons, Marbled Borneo Short Tail Pythons, and het "Extreme Red" albino western Hognose.

Housing

We maintain all of our adult breeding groups in the Freedom Breeder CB70 compact rack offered by Freedom Breeder They are unrivaled in ease of use and space saving!

For our hatchlings and sub-adults we use rack systems by RBI Plastics. We have a wall of these and I can honestly say these are the best small size racks available for the money. RBI Plastics These racks utilize the best plastic container on the market. IRIS!!

Incubation

We are using a cabinet style incubator made by Natures Spirit. For anyone who produces 50 or more eggs a season, this is a must! Natures Spirit You cannot beat the space, dependability and price of this product!

Our Animals

We have purchased our animals from the best and most well known people in the industry! Kelli Hammack/Hiss--VMS Herp--The Jeff's JMG Reptile--Albeys Too Cool!--Hot Geckos and many more! These are some of the best, and if you are looking for any type of "high quality" Leopard gecko, they have it!

Supplies and Food

We use Superior Enterprise for all of our deli cups, snake bags, heat packs and shipping boxes. Superior Enterprise We have been a customer of their's for years and have always been satisfied!

For our gecko food we use Rainbow Mealworns exclusively. Rainbow Mealworms The best bugs we have ever seen. This is no exaggeration!

We buy bulk frozen rodents from Big Cheese Rodent Factory. In the past 10 years, these guys have the best all around product. Big Cheese Rodent Factory Great prices, great product. What more could you ask for?
