Hi guys, I simply just cannot pull away to get all of these photos taken for the available page. Guess I will just have to post individual animals on Kingsnake.com Leopard Gecko Classifieds and Geckoforums.net Leopard Gecko Classifieds

7/20/2007

Wow, has it been quiet around here...lol. Since the 8 babies hatched almost two weeks ago, we have had no new hatchlings! There are probably 30 eggs still in the incubator, but with the heat out here this time of year I am still suffering from temp fluctuations for my incubator. This will most certainly affect the eggs. Also, it is just too hard to keep the gecko room cool enough to still have effective breeding. Our season is officially at an end. I will now start feeding some heavier and fattier foods to the girls to build up some weight. I expect to be able to start our next season around December 1st, guess we will see! I am still working on the available page. I hope to have pictures up this weekend?!? It is hard work to photograph 50+ animals, but I'll get it done eventually ;O)

7/10/2007

We had 8 babies hatch on Sunday. Nothing really notable a t this point. Was away over the weekend and had no time to update the available page but it will happen...lol...

7/5/2007

Updating our available page...bear with me, this is a nightmare

7/2/2007

We had some beautiful Red Stripes hatch yesterday. One appears ghostly, so I imagine it may hypo out a bit as mom is almost a "vanished" pattern Red Stripe. Running out of space for babies.....Alliey and I are discussing the possibility of wholesaling out all of our non keeper 2007 babies. We are not working with these geckos for making money, so it makes sense to not sit on 50 of them we don't want to keep for breeding. You will see an update on the available page as far as pricing goes on Monday of next week.

7/1/2007

Nothing new to tell you at the moment....still have some great eggs due to hatch though...stay in touch!

6/25/2007

We had a pretty good gecko weekend! We hatched a Patternless Stripe Eclipse from a non-albino het Raptor pair, and a beautiful Blazing Blizzard. There were a few AHR Stripeline babies that hatched as well. We will be receiving some new animals from Kelli @ hisss.net this week. We picked up a group of Bell Albinos to breed into the AHR Stripeline we have. I am really looking forward to having Jungle & Striped Bells. We also picked up several female Bold Stripes from Kelli, they are just amazing animals!

6/21/2007

This season I hatched 5 eggs from a Blazing Blizzard male bred to a Mack Snow Het Blizzard. Statistically I should get 25% Mack Snow Blizzards het Albino, 25% Mack Snows het Blizzard and Albino, 25% Blizzards het Albino, and 25% normals het Blizzard and Albino. Right out of the gate, the first egg I hatched was a beautiful Mack Snow blizzard, incubated for male. It's remaining four siblings, all hatched out as NORMALS het blizzard and albino. I could live with that because I got my MSB boy right?!?!? Nope, looks like my MSB boy is in fact an MSB FEMALE....lol Can't win them all I guess.

6/21/2007

Been pretty quiet here the last few days. Our season is winding down now. I separated all of our breeders groups, and the remaining 40 or so eggs should all be hatched by mid August.

6/17/2007

Finally updated the available page, but the work is never finished. I still do not have half of the animals I produced up yet. I want to wait until everything goes through the uglies, before I post the rest.

6/14/2007

Starting to run short on space. We have hatched about 40 babies now, and have that many eggs in the incubator. I will be updating all of the pictures, prices, and sexes of the animals on our available page. I will also be adding more animals to that. Alliey and I have decided against a booth at the Anaheim show in September. It now appears we will not even be going....

6/14/2007

What a cool part of the season for us! We have started hatching babies daily, so much fun not having to wait a week or two between hatchings.

6/12/2007

It has been a little busy around here! We have hatched 7 or so babies in the last couple of days! 2 Jungles, 2 DBL Het Blazing Blizzards, 2 Blizzards het Albino, and 1 SHTCT....stay tuned!

6/11/2007

So we have had a few eggs hatch, and a few more geckos die in the egg. I am very, very confused as to what is happening. This morning we hatched # 31 and still have many more eggs cooking! I am still working on the available animals, if you see and X I am working to upload that picture.

6/06/2007

Don't forget to check out our available page. It is new and am I am updating it everyday when time allows!

6/06/2007

I am losing eggs left and right. I now have 4 AHR (3 stripes & 1 Jungle) and 2 Blazing/Blizzard (1 Blazing & 1 Blizzard) eggs that the babies died before hatching. It is obviously due to a poor design of my homemade incubator but why? I have two theories, one being that there was to large of a temperature variation, and the other being that in the homemade incubator my delicups had tons of condensation buildup on the lids of the cups. I wonder if that same sort of thing has happened inside of the egg, causing the babies to drown? Hopefully I will be able to salvage some of my 50 or so eggs in there. We will see, and 1 thing is for sure, I will be buying a Natures Spirit incubator for next season!

6/05/2007

I've decided I love how simple this site is. We will be sticking with this format. I have also started adding for sale animals to the new available page. Bear with me as I am adding over 20 animals!

6/03/2007

Building a new website...but I am undecided if I will ever launch it...lol

6/03/2007

We reached 100 eggs for the season a few days ago. Unfortunately that has not been cause for celebration. We have been having eggs that the babies are dying before hatching. I attribute this to a temperature fluctuation of 3 degrees in my new incubator. I have since changed back to what I was using before. I am also noticing lots of infertile eggs, probably due to the warmer temperature in my breeder room. Keep checking back, if there was not too much damage caused by the temp fluctuations in the incubator, we are due to start having eggs hatch every day!

5/23/2007

We are having an amazing season so far! As of the 21st of this month we have produced 86 eggs. Our goal was 100, and it appears that we will make that a reality. The fun part will be to hatch 100 babies. Our fertility and mortality rate has been pretty good up to this point. I do have some concerns as I built a new incubator recently and I have 50+ eggs in it. I believe it will work well, but I hate being too confident.

5/23/2007

I have decided to can my offspring picture page until after all the eggs have hatched, and I can relax a little. Also, I am looking at a new website format, one that will meet my picture needs.

5/15/2007

I have been slacking on updated photos. We have hatched several SHTCTB babies. The most exciting news is our first egg hatched from the Blazing Blizzard x Mack Snow het Blizzard.....it was a Black eyed white little Mack Snow Blizzard male, 100% het for Tremper Albino. I am so happy!!!

5/03/2007

Some of our more interesting projects will be bearing fruit soon, be sure to stay tuned!

5/03/2007

Been kind of quiet lately. I do expect the hatchings to pick up shortly. I am still going to make some minor adjustments to the offpsring directory page, probably by adding representative photos of each morph.

4/26/2007

Changed the format of our offspring pictures page. Also created a Blog Archive. Hatchings are here and there right now, but in another week or two we are expecting things to pick up, with eggs hatching every day!

4/24/2007

More eggs laid, and more babies hatching daily. I have decided to only place non normal trait bearing offspring on the baby page, for the sake of space. Having problems with my spreadsheet uploading and updating correctly, so I have taken it down for now.

4/21/2007

Eggs today from our Het Raptor X Het Raptor pairing. Also, we had some more normals hatch from our AHR stripeline group. I am almost positive that these normals are coming from one female. Next year I may work on breeding those girls seperately to see if I can find out for sure.

4/18/2007

Three more clutches laid in the past 24 hours. 2 SHTCT clutches and another clutch from our Mack Snow Het Blizzard X Blazing Blizzard pairing. I have been keeping a spreadsheet with all of my hatchling data, including temps, hatch time, sex and all that other good stuff. After the season and when I can find a suitable way of presenting that data to you on this website, I will.

4/15/2007

We have had two clutches from our Blizzard Het Tremper Albino females bred by our Blazing Blizzard male. We also have eggs from our Mack Super Snow Poss Het Tremper Albino bred by our Blazing Blizzard male.

4/11/2007

Our 2007 Baby page is up! Be sure to check it out.

4/09/2007

We have had more eggs, most notable a good clutch from my Blazing Blizzard male and Mack Snow het Blizzard. Also, eggs are starting to hatch again. Keep an eye out for our new baby picture page.

3/30/2007

We have had more eggs laid and some have started to hatch. I may add a new picture page for the babies. We have also added an HG Tang and another beautiful Red Stripe to our collection. Our SSBB group is starting to develop eggs, but I have not noticed the male doing any breeding. I imagine I will know soon enough, as the girls should start laying any day now. While we will not have a Super Snow Blazing Blizzard this season, we certainly hope to have Snow Blizzards het Tremper Albino. Only time will tell.

3/20/07

We scored an amazing pair of 100% Het Raptors!!! I have my fingers crossed we will produce a raptor or two this season!

3/20/07

Eggs today but not from our stripes, these are from our SHTCT group.

3/16/07

LOL, I have 3 more females (yep, AHR Stripes) digging in their egg box, so I imagine I will have more of these in the incubator by Monday!

3/13/07

We received our Mack Snow Het Blizzard today from VMS, she is huge and absolutely amazing!

3/09/07

4 more AHR Stripe eggs in the incubator

3/02/07

So many more eggs still coming! We will not have any Red Stripes this season. Our pair is not breeding so I will be seperating them to optimize their feeding in preperation for next year. I do intend to put together my group of Blazing Blizzard/Blizzards 100% Tremper Albino, and Mack Super Snow (dbl dose) Poss Het Albinos together in the next month or so. We also hope to be adding a Mack Snow (single dose) het Blizzard soon. My ultimate goal for next breeding season is to produce the Mack Super Snow Blazing Blizzard.

2/28/07

Another clutch from the SHTCT group, the second from female #3. The eggs look good, and I highly doubt the new Dominant AHR Ghost male is the father seeing he went in the day before she layed her eggs. Eggs look healthy, but we will see in the next week or so.

2/26/07

So the SHTCT eggs laid on the 21st are bad as I suspected. There was also another bad egg laid in the box today. I have chosen to remove our giant male and placed our AHR Ghost (Dominant/Non-line bred hypo) in with the girls. The SHTCT females in this group are polygenic or line bred so I am curious how the offspring will look. Like any good male breeder he has proceeded to copulate with all three females in the first 20 minutes in the rack. Heres hoping for the best!

2/26/07

More AHR Stripe eggs! I now have 6 of these in the incubator

2/22/07

We have added an amazing Mack Super Snow poss het Tremper Albino female (Albey's Too Cool) to our group of Blazing Blizzard/Blizzards.

2/22/07

We now have another clutch of AHR Stripes in the incubator. I was really worried about this girl because I thought she held onto them a little too long. Looks like she is ok and the eggs look great too!.

2/21/07

Another clutch from SHTCT group, this time from our best female (#3) but I suspect these eggs will go bad.

2/12/07

We now have a clutch of AHR Stripes in the incubator. We have high hopes for this project.

2/11/07

More eggs from the SHTCT group. The previous two clutches were infertile, as I suspected that they would be. This last clutch is from female #2 (her second this season) and the early signs say these eggs are ok. For those interested I am expecting two clutches of AHR stripes, and another clutch from the SHTCT group anyday now.

2/7/07

We have our second clutch of eggs from our 1.3 Super Hypo Tangerine Carrottails. The male in this group "Dozer" is a massive 100+ gram beast.

2/6/07

Our pair of 66% Poss Het Blood boas have been breeding steady. I have noticed significant swelling in the female (follicular growth) and I am hoping our higher than normal temperatures and a series of small meals will trigger an ovulation.

2/5/07

Updating the website and making some changes.
